Who you are dealing with
These terms cover the Cosmic Custom PCs LLC website and a custom PC you ask Cosmic Custom PCs LLC to build. Cosmic Custom PCs LLC is a veteran-owned builder. PCs are built in Cambridge, MN. Questions go to james@cosmiccustompcs.com or (763) 645-9148.
This site is not a store
The build studio, the tier cards, and the contact form help you describe a machine and send a request. They are not a cart, not an offer, and not a contract. This site does not take payment and does not create an account.
Published prices
Nebula, Pulsar, Singularity, and Void are published starting prices, not a checkout price. A custom PC is quoted after a consultation. Delivery charges may affect pricing. Shipping is quoted separately.
Proposals
A sale starts when you approve a written proposal. That proposal names the parts, the price, how the PC is handed off, and the warranty for that build. If a part is out of stock, you see the change on the proposal before you approve it. If this page and an approved proposal ever differ, the proposal controls that build.
Deposit and when work starts
Work starts after you approve the proposal and pay the deposit. That is when parts are ordered. Nothing ships until both of those have happened. The system is assembled, stress-tested, and optimized before it leaves the shop.
Turnaround
Faster turnaround may be subject to additional fees or charges. Any extra charge is named on the proposal before you approve it.
Delivery
Pickup and local delivery are in Cambridge, MN. Secure shipping is available when a build needs to travel. The proposal states which one applies to your machine.
Warranty
Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. What that covers is spelled out on the proposal. The details are on the Warranty Policy.
Using the site
Give an honest description of the job, the budget, and how you want the PC delivered. Plans you save stay in this browser until you send them on the contact form. See the privacy page for what is stored. The Facebook link leaves this site and follows Facebook's own terms.
Changes
These terms can be updated on this page. A proposal you already approved keeps the terms written on that proposal.
