Warranty on parts.

Warranty Policy

Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Coverage for your machine is spelled out on the proposal you approve.

What is covered

Parts in a Cosmic Custom PCs LLC build carry the manufacturer's warranty. This website does not sell a separate extended warranty, and it does not replace the manufacturer's own terms.

The proposal spells it out

For your machine, the written proposal is where the warranty is spelled out. That includes which parts are covered and anything about that coverage you need before you approve the build. If this page and an approved proposal ever differ, the proposal controls that build.

Before the PC leaves the shop

Every system is assembled, stress-tested, and optimized before pickup, local delivery, or shipping. That is part of the build. It is not a substitute for the manufacturer's warranty on the parts.

After you have the PC

A manufacturer's warranty covers defects in that part under the manufacturer's terms. It does not cover damage after delivery, misuse, or later changes the manufacturer excludes. Those exclusions belong to the manufacturer. When they matter to your build, they are named on the proposal.

How to ask

Email james@cosmiccustompcs.com or call (763) 645-9148 with your name, which build it is, and what failed. I will tell you whether the next step is a manufacturer claim or something the proposal already covers.

This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service. Questions: (763) 645-9148 or james@cosmiccustompcs.com.
